First you'll need a hitbox account (see Creating an hitbox account).
After you created an account simply sign in, click your avatar in the top-right corner, and select “Set up your livestream”
You’ll then be brought to this page:
Make sure you have your broadcasting software set up to these recommended settings (for information on other broadcasting softwares see the Livestream help section), and click Continue.
Here you will be able to edit your stream title and game, you can also change these in your Dashboard.
You can also access the RTMP key if needed, as well as your stream key. If for any reason you ever need to generate a new stream key, you can also do that here - but be sure to update it in your broadcasting software otherwise you won’t be able to go live properly.
By default all streams are visible, with no recordings, and no delay. You can toggle between having your stream visible and hidden, which hides it from the main page and prevents notifications going out to followers.
You can also choose whether recordings are on or off, you can access stream recordings in your Video Manager tab to make highlights to share with your followers and the hitbox community.
Stream delay is useful when playing competitive games to prevent ‘stream sniping’.
This delay is in ADDITION to any delay you may already have implemented through your broadcasting software.
Below your Livestream Settings you can also see who is currently hosting your channel, which dashboards you have access to, adding and modifying editors and moderators, and seeing which channels you are a moderator in.
